New Pilates classes are coming to Woking and Pyrford in Surrey in January 2009.
The Pilates classes will be for beginners and improvers and will be mat based for all ages and levels of fitness. Don’t be worried if you have never embarked upon any form of physical fitness regime before as it is a very gentle form of exercise. The slow controlled flowing movements of Pilates primarily strengthen the core muscles that stabilise and support the spine and improve overall mobility, thus realigning the body and correcting postural problems.
Pilates can help correct or improve postural problems, ease back pain, prevent and improve Osteoporosis, aid recovery after injury and help prevent them. It is also a great way to relax and beat stress.
The Woking Pilates Class is starting on 22nd January 2009 at 10am - 11am. This is being held at Peak Fitness in Chertsey Road, Woking, which is 2 minute walk from the Station, in fact it is above Wetherspoons pub.
The Pyrford Pilates Class is starting on 21st January 2009 at 2pm - 3pm. This is being held in the Trinity Room at the The Church of the Good Shepherd Parish Hall, Coldharbour Road, Pyrford, Woking.
